  4. Educational Lecture:“America’s Entry into WWI”

    Presented by Robert Holden, a retired senior adjunct Professor of history at ACCC. Part Two of the World War One Presentation.The story traces the rise of America as a world power with the beginning of the Spanish American War. This will be a presentation of how Hollywood dealt with the tragedies of the World War through films produced in the 1930’s and then later in the 20th century. Discussions of each film will be encouraged by participants. In addition to the films, Mr. Holden will bring his entire collection of World War One helmets, hats, medals and other items.
